Media Campaign
Earth Day
THE EARTH DAY CAMPAIGN, WHAT IS IT?
The Earth Day media campaign unfolds across multiple platforms throughout the month of April. In addition to raising awareness among citizens and organizations across the country about environmental issues, this impactful campaign aims to encourage as many people as possible to take action.
Earth Day Canada’s 2026 campaign will be created by the creative agency Hula Hoop. The official launch is planned for the spring, and the campaign will be accompanied by a communications toolkit to support its rollout.
CONSCIOUS CONSUMPTION:
THEME OF THE 2026 CAMPAIGN
Conscious consumption encourages us to consume less, but better, in order to reduce our impact on the planet while improving our quality of life, without necessarily implying deprivation.
In a context of growing pressure on natural resources and ecosystems, conscious consumption emerges as a concrete, positive and accessible response. It applies both to our individual choices and to how we organize collectively, by rethinking our modes of production, consumption and transportation, as well as our relationship to energy, digital technologies and materials.
Earth Day Canada’s 2026 media campaign aims to encourage citizens, municipalities, organizations and businesses to commit to conscious practices, whether they are energy-related, material, digital, organizational, behavioural or collective. The goal: to promote a simpler, more inclusive and sustainable way of life, aligned with planetary boundaries.
